Title	Aviation Meteorologist
Location	Houston, TX
Job Type	Full Time
Job Summary	Producing and disseminating worldwide aviation related weather information and briefings for corporate aviation to ensure a seamless trip for our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities	To prepare, coordinate and facilitate all meteorological aspects of an international or domestic corporate aviation flight. This embraces but is not restricted to: Effectively communicate technical weather information via written or verbal format. Produce and distribute daily, regional corporate weather briengs for crew and passengers. Familiarization with operational weather requirements for FAR part 91 and FAR part 135 flights. Provide enroute, destination and alternate airport weather briengs. Analyze critical weather products such as winds aloft, area forecasts, sigmets, airmets and pilot reports. Ability to coordinate and relay ight operations information as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes	Bachelor Degree in Science and/or arts in Meteorology or atmospheric science and/or military weather forecasting veterans with 2-3 years experience, preferably in the aviation discipline Strong work ethic Detail orientated, good decision making skills Strong customer service orientation Ability to handle and resolve problems Ability to establish priorities, work and proceed with objectives independently and in a team environment Geo-Political awareness Skills to use a computer and associated software packages Flexibility to handle shift work.
