Billing Specialist

Job Summary

This position reports directly to the Billing Manager , the primary responsibility for this position is to enter vendor tickets/ invoices into database, review customer billings for accuracy and completeness and resolve discrepancies.

Essential Functions

Under general supervision:

  • Organizes incoming vendor ticket / invoices
  • Input vendor tickets/ invoices into database
  • Attach back up to all tickets
  • Call FBO's to verify tails when need it
  • Email Supply or Vendor disputing invoices when need it.
Other Responsibilities
  • Assists in the accomplishment of Colt company goals
  • Helps other employees to accomplish Colt company goals
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor
  • Working Hours: as determined by AR and Billing Manager
Education/Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • At least one year of work experience in billing, accounting or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

Performs light work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

FLSA and Compensation

This position is eligible for the following, subject to the companies then current policies and procedures:

  • Hourly Pay (All overtime must be pre-approved)
  • Employee benefits as determined by the company from time to time

HIPAA Level identifies if the position is authorized to access, use or disclose protected health information.
